Maya Creedman:
College Planner
Maya believes that the college application process leads to personal growth and college readiness in addition to a best fit college. With over 25 years of experience in education, Maya leverages a Master's in Education, a teaching credential, and a certificate in College Admissions and Career Counseling to support students in defining and communicating their unique identity and voice in the application process.
As a UCLA doctoral student, Maya developed a passion for visiting college campuses as she presented educational research at conferences in Montreal, Seattle, San Diego, Honolulu, and Ann Arbor, Michigan. Maya is an active member of the National Association of College Admissions and Counseling (NACAC) and the Independent Education Consultants Association (IECA), a volunteer college coach with ScholarMatch, and has additional training in international university admissions and educational therapy.
As a parent of a high schooler and a college student, Maya understands the balance of supporting students while empowering them to become independent in their college planning process. When not immersed in the college admissions world, Maya enjoys writing fiction for young adults, biking, and exploring Mt. Tamalpais with her two Australian shepherds.
