Renee Williams:

College Planner

Renee brings to The College Planning Center many years of college advising in the capacity of an independent educational consultant and the Director of Student Development at a private college preparatory high school in the San Francisco, Bay Area. 

She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Relations. Renee also holds a Certificate in College Counseling from the University of California, San Diego, as well as several professional association memberships, including IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association), PRSA (Public Relations Society of America), and NAMIC (National Association for Multi-Ethnicity in Communications). 

Renee is involved in the community as an avid volunteer and mentor, which exemplifies her intrinsic nature for helping people. She recently concluded a two-year appointment as President of the Board of Directors for the Women’s Daytime Drop-in Center in Berkeley, CA, where she could exercise her passion for strengthening and advancing the lives of individuals and communities.

As a leader in the industry, Renee is an Advisory Board member of the University of California, Riverside Extension Transformative Leadership in Disruptive Times Executive Program. Additionally, she is a Scholar Match volunteer College Coach team member.

Renee is the proud mom of two recent college graduates, whom she had the privilege of helping navigate the college application and admissions process.
