David Walters:

College Planner

 David is excited to bring his twenty years of experience to the College Planning Center. He is passionate about guiding students and their families through the educational system. 

During David’s tenure as a College & Career Advisor at a large California public high school, he has helped students navigate their high school course selections, prepare for standardized exams, create a good-match college list, navigate college applications and essays, and explore financial aid and scholarship options. 

David is known for giving engaging student and parent workshops and presentations. He builds strong bonds with students and families as he takes the stress out of the college planning process. David believes that the high school years should be a time of excitement and possibility for each student. Every student has a unique journey, and David prides himself on his ability to help students navigate their individual journeys. 

Originally from New York, David now calls the Bay Area home with his wife (an elementary school teacher). When not at work, David and his wife enjoy hiking with their two dogs and exploring Northern California.
